This facility is equipped to provide intraoral scanning for your implant procedure. ​The impression is taken using the intraoral scanner in real time, allowing the dentist to verify that all the necessary margins for the prosthesis have been captured.

Furthermore, when there is good rapport with your laboratory, they will be able to observe the acquisition remotely, at the same time as the clinician, and suggest taking a new impression where there are critical issues.

The use of the microscope has made it possible to develop minimally invasive techniques for patients and to “sacrifice” less dental tissue, thus allowing them to keep their original teeth for longer.  

Research indicates the benefits that dentists derive from using the microscope, including:
  1. a better view of the operating field and therefore greater precision during treatment;
  2. a general improvement in the quality of treatments: from cavity preparation to final restoration;
  3. it allows minimally invasive treatments to be performed, with less removal of dental tissue, because the microscope can also detect early-stage carious lesions that have not yet compromised a large part of the tooth, but which are difficult to detect with the naked eye; 
  4. it allows old fillings to be removed by removing only the compromised dental tissue, while maintaining the healthy tissue and preserving more of the tooth;
  5. it speeds up the final step of a filling, i.e. the time taken to reduce the excess composite once the reconstruction is complete;
  6. a better working approach for the dentist: there is a reduction in eye strain and less effort required to interpret clinical details, leading to better work performance;
  7. better management of the procedure both with the patient and with the dental assistant, as the microscope allows photographs and videos to be taken, which are useful for providing the patient with detailed information and allow the dental assistant to follow every detail in real time and intervene more promptly;
  8. avoids iatrogenic damage, thanks to the precision of work that the microscope allows.
